How It Works
Start Here
- Choose your tracker mode: Non-keysanity, Keysanity, Keydrop, or Crosskeys.
- Choose your world mode: Open or Standard.
- Choose what you want visible: map/locations, timer, and checks counter.
- Pick a sprite and timer/checks font if you want.
- Click Launch Tracker.
- Autotracking works with tools that provide the SNI/QUsb2Snes websocket protocol, including SNI and QUsb2Snes.
- Most local setups use host
localhost. Common ports are23074for SNI and8080for QUsb2Snes.
Beta Notice
The 216 Tracker is still being tested. Autotracking, map logic, and mode-specific counts may have inaccuracies or missing edge cases. Do not rely on it for a live race yet.
What The Numbers Mean
- Purple numbers are checks/items remaining in their respective dungeons.
- Dungeon names turn green when that dungeon is complete.
- In keysanity and keydrop, key numbers show small keys for that dungeon.
- Dungeon check counters, small-key counters, big keys, dungeon prizes, and dungeon completion autotrack from the connected game.
- Key numbers turn green when they reach that mode's maximum.
Timer And Checks
- The timer starts when your game file starts.
- The timer stops when the game reaches the Triforce room.
- The checks counter reads the randomizer's saved check count.
- Centiseconds are the small numbers after seconds.
Map Tracker
- Green dots are in logic.
- Orange dots are partially available.
- Purple dots are clearable but not fully available.
- Red dots are out of logic.
- Checked locations are cleared dots.
- The map is a logic helper, not a replacement for checking your seed settings and route.
- Hover a dot to see the location name.
- Left-click a dot to manually mark it checked or unchecked.
- Right-click a dot to remove your manual mark and let autotracking control that dot again.
- Crosskeys uses a categorized locations list instead of the map.
Medallions
Misery Mire and Turtle Rock each require a medallion to open them. Click the small medallion marker above those items to mark which medallion is needed.
- MM means Misery Mire.
- TR means Turtle Rock.
Manual Controls
- Most tracker icons left-click forward through their options.
- Most tracker icons right-click backward through their options.
- The tracker reset button reloads the tracker with autotracking paused.
- The timer reset button only resets the timer.
Saved Settings
- Remember settings saves display, world mode, sprite, font, and centiseconds choices in your browser.
- Reset saved settings clears those saved launcher choices.
